Investing in our mission for the future.

COMPELLING NEED: A WORLD IN CRISIS

Sudan. Venezuela. Afghanistan. These nations are just a few examples where millions of individuals live on less than five dollars a day. They are often sick, poor, undereducated, and members of vulnerable groups: minorities, the disabled, the elderly, refugees, and victims of war and disaster. These people desperately need compassionate, skilled care to survive and thrive.

THE DESIRE TO SERVE

Healthcare professionals and students are eager to serve but often feel unprepared to navigate cross-cultural barriers, address unfamiliar diseases, or work with limited resources. They need more than passion; they need the right tools, guidance, and training to make a meaningful impact.

THE INMED MISSION

Since 2003, the Institute for International Medicine (INMED) has worked to empower compassionate individuals to serve the world’s most vulnerable. As a specialized graduate school, INMED’s mission is to equip healthcare professionals and students to serve the forgotten.

HOW INMED EQUIPS

INMED’s faculty bring firsthand experience and deep expertise from serving in challenging global locations. Through a blend of cutting-edge courses, immersive hands-on experiences, and tailored service opportunities, INMED has prepared over 1,500 graduates to make a lasting difference. INMED proudly works with the full spectrum of healthcare professionals, from medicine, public health, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, and more.

SECURING THE FUTURE: THE INMED ENDOWMENT

To ensure the longevity of INMED’s life-saving mission, an endowment has been established with a $17.5 million funding goal. This endowment will provide the strategic financial resources needed to sustain visionary leadership, talented staff, and modern technology.

THE IMPACT: TRANSFORMING LIVES ACROSS THE GLOBE

Today, INMED graduates are passionately serving in Angola, Bangladesh, China, Honduras, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, the United States, and beyond. They provide skilled, compassionate care to the world’s most vulnerable.
